Rida graduated in June 2026 with a B.A.Sc. in Nanotechnology Engineering (Honours Co-op). His interests include systems, mechatronics, and test engineering.

Selected work includes the NewGen Health Smart Cup reader-lid prototype, Waterloo Rocketry propulsion testing and safety work, and a Canadian Nuclear Laboratories-sponsored radiation-biodosimetry capstone that he continued after graduation. He was NewGen Health's first engineering hire. His capstone team received a Global Futures i-Capstone Award.
