This is Rida Sayed’s personal portfolio. Questions about privacy can be sent to rida@rida.tv.
Optional analytics
Umami analytics is blocked until you choose "Allow." Rejecting analytics does not affect the portfolio or chatbot. If allowed, Umami receives page views, device/browser details and connection information. The tracker does not use analytics cookies. The EU data region was selected for analytics storage; this does not mean every service operation takes place exclusively in the EU.
Your choice is remembered in this browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. Use to change it. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics events; it does not remove information already sent. Legacy Google Analytics cookies are removed where possible. See Umami’s privacy policy for its processing practices.
On Ask Rida, optional analytics measures visits, conversation starts, questions submitted, successful replies, errors, restarts and reaching the exchange limit. Only fixed event names and an exchange count are sent by the chat application. Questions, replies and input contents are excluded. Page addresses exclude query strings and fragments, and referrers are not sent. Automatic interaction tracking, error capture and session replay are not enabled. The privacy page does not load the tracker.
Ask Rida conversations
When you submit a question, your message and the recent messages in that conversation are sent through this site’s server to OpenAI to generate a reply. Do not include sensitive personal, confidential or financial information. The chatbot can make mistakes.
The application does not write chat transcripts to its database or intentionally log their contents. Conversation state is held in the current page; “New conversation” clears it from the interface, and reloading does not restore it. This does not delete information already processed by service providers.
Requests use OpenAI’s response-storage setting store:false. This prevents stored-response history for later API retrieval, but does not guarantee that OpenAI retains no data. Its standard abuse-monitoring logs may contain inputs and outputs and are normally retained for up to 30 days, subject to the exceptions and controls in OpenAI’s current API data controls. Do not treat Ask Rida as a zero-retention service.
Usage limits and hosting
To enforce request limits, the server derives a salted hash from the visitor’s IP address, or from the site-scoped authenticated user identifier when one is supplied by the hosting platform. The database stores this pseudonymous identifier, time-window keys, request counts and expiry timestamps, plus aggregate request counts. It does not store the raw IP address or message contents in those records. A hash is not a guarantee of anonymity.
Usage records are assigned expiry times between two minutes and two days. Expired records are removed during subsequent permitted chat requests, so deletion is not guaranteed to occur at the exact expiry time. The hosting providers, ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare, also process connection information and may maintain operational and security logs under their own policies. This page does not promise a particular retention period for those provider logs.
Browser storage and external links
Local storage remembers your analytics choice and the “Pause animations” preference. These preferences do not contain chat messages. External links, including LinkedIn, Umami and OpenAI, lead to services with their own privacy practices.
