A seat at the table lets me apply my interest in how systems work to the institutions around me. At Waterloo, that has meant serving on university governing bodies, working on their committees, and representing students through elected leadership roles.
From academic policy and institutional finances to campus infrastructure and student representation, these roles gave me different ways to get involved in making things better.
